What is a task?

Represents an action item for you or your team. Tasks can be linked to contacts, companies, deals, or tickets for context.

Key fields

  • Title, description, due date, priority (low/normal/high/urgent), and order.
  • Owners/assignees and optional links to contacts, companies, deals, or tickets.

Creating and updating

  • Tasks -> New Task; set due date and priority. Drag to reorder in lists.
  • Mark done/undone with one click; filter by owner or completion state.
  • Use links to attach tasks to CRM records so context follows the work.

Good practices

  • Use priorities intentionally; keep “urgent” rare.
  • Keep tasks small and specific; link to the related record so activity is discoverable.
  • Start your day with a “mine” filter and clear overdue items first.

Common workflows

  • Daily focus list via the “mine” view.
  • Auto-create follow-up tasks when deals move stages or tickets close (via automations).
  • Bulk reorder to reflect priority changes.
