What is a company?

Represents an organization. Companies group contacts, deals, and activities under one account so you see everything in one place.

Key fields

  • Name and domain (recommended for matching new leads automatically).
  • Notes and custom properties for structured data.
  • Linked contacts, deals, tasks, and tickets for context.

Creating and updating

  • Add companies from Companies -> New Company. Include the primary domain to auto-link future contacts.
  • Import from CSV (name + domain) to bulk add; review duplicate suggestions before confirming.
  • Edit a company to manage contacts, deals, notes, and properties in one view.

Good practices

  • Keep one canonical domain per company to avoid duplicates.
  • Attach key contacts so ownership for deals and support is clear.
  • Use structured properties for reporting; reserve notes for quick context.

Common workflows

  • Auto-attach inbound leads to a company based on their email domain.
  • View all deals and tickets for an account to prepare for calls or renewals.
